Where
The LA Homeschool Prom will be held at the Museum of Neon Art (MONA) located at 216 S Brand Blvd, Glendale, CA.
When
May 27th, 2023. Check-in begins at 6:30. The buffet begins at 7:00 pm.
Payment
Tickets are $175 per person, payable via credit card online. The ticket price includes entry to the dance, dinner, soda bar, and photos. Online registration is sponsored by Urban Homeschoolers. To ensure we receive all the needed information only one teen can be registered at a time. If you have multiple teens in your family, please go back to your account to add your additional teens. Parking
There is a parking structure located at 120 Artsakh Ave and metered parking in the Alley behind MONA
Check-in/out
Check-in begins at 6:30 pm. Check-out will be at 10:00 pm at the same location.
There is no in/out privileges. Once your teen is signed out they may not reenter the venue. For those under the age of 18 on the date of the event, you MUST have a parent/guardian sign you out OR a parent/guardian MUST sign the waiver provided upon registration. If another adult is picking up your teen please notify the check-in volunteers when you drop off your teen. If your teen is 18+ they will sign themselves in. They may not sign in anyone but themselves.
Dress Code
The prom is a formal event. Please no jeans, sweats, t-shirts, athletic shoes, or casual wear.
Age Requirement
The prom is open to all homeschoolers and their guests from ages 14-19. Prom attendees must be 14 years by May 27th. No exceptions. A prom is typically for older teens. We kindly ask when registering your teen for the prom you include their correct age. Children who are under the minimum age and register for prom will not be granted admission or issued a refund
Health and Safty
The LA Homeschool Prom is following the current CDC guidelines for COVID-19. At this time we are not requiring proof of vaccination or masks, but attendees are welcome to wear one if they choose. We do reserve the right to adjust our guidelines if needed based on health and safety protocols outlined by the CDC.
